Legendary Merseyside bands Lightning Seeds, The Christians, and China Crisis will take over Birkenhead Park for one night only with a not-to-be-missed musical extravaganza on Sunday 8 September.

Drawing from their chart-topping hits and classic tunes, these iconic bands will be ‘coming home’ to Merseyside to perform their world-famous anthems. Eclectic songs and nostalgia-filled beats will transport you to a musical paradise amongst the breath-taking backdrop of a park with a rich and colourful history.

This performance will take place as part of a September to remember at the park alongside Wirral Food and Drink Festival on Saturday 7 - Sunday 8 September, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at Birkenhead Park on Saturday 7 September, followed by OVO Energy Tour of Britain on Wednesday 11 September.

Please be aware that there's no seating at this event, but audience members are welcome to bring their own seats and picnic blankets.


Standard ticket - £17.50 (plus booking fee) (£25 on the day)

Concession - £15 (plus booking fee)

Child 6-16 - £10 (plus booking fee)

Children under the age of 6 can attend for free per adult/concession ticket purchased. Children will still require tickets, and these must be booked at time of purchase.

Getting there

Train: Birkenhead Park train station is a short walk away from the Ashville Road entrance gate. Turn right onto Duke Street on exiting the station, continue straight, across Park Road North onto Ashville Road. The entrance gate will be clearly signposted.
